Hafodunos hall is a Venetian inspired gothic style house, nestled among the trees in the quiet village of Llangernyw, North Wales. The hall was built in c.1861-6 to the design by Sir George Gilbert Scott for the Sandbach family at the cost of £30,000, and stands within an estate of fifty-three acres.
Plans were announced in the spring of 2004, to convert the hall into a luxury hotel and caravan park. Opposition came from the local people of Llangernyw and the debate over its future was still ongoing when the hall fell victim to a devastating arson attack on 13th October, 2004 that completely gutted the main block.
The gardens are severely overgrown and the hall lies in a neglected and ruinous state to this day after being purchased in November 2009 for £800,000.

Anon asked for some advice about eyes, and I… may have gone a bit overboard, ahahaha. I hope it turned out at least a little worthwhile!
This is a great guide! I’d like to make one small note though—when drawing the pupil in profile in a realistic style, it should be slightly recessed in the iris.
But sometimes it just works to have the pupil right next to the cornea in a cartoony style, so it’s up to you for whatever you’re going for.

She is not an easy gal to paint without her signature smile. Struggled a lot on this one.
